These plates have the provincial coat of arms on them, which makes me think that they were from government buildings. When I bought the large plate (platter, really), I was told it was from the "Vancouver Club". I have yet to verify this claim.
December 19, 2008: These plates are actually from the cafe at the provincial legislature buildings in B.C.

I have 6 dinner plates and a berry (?) bowl exactly like these you have shown. Could you tell me if they are worth keeping or an approximate value. If not could you tell me what you paid for the platters and where you found them. Mine came from my grandmother's summer house and I have kept thwm and used then regularly for the past 20 years.
