Maker: Grindley Distributor: Cassidy's Ltd. I purchased this plate on ebay, and it was mailed from Washington state. It is definately Canadian, but it may not be from British Columbia because in the list of distribution locations, Vancouver is second on the list on the back of the plate. December 19, 2008: I got an email from a historian, John Mitchell, who said that there was a White Star Cafe in Salmo, B.C. Could this plate be from there? See my blog for my experience with Salmo.
