I picked this piece up at Allen's Antiques in Armstrong, BC, and its the only piece I found after two days of searching over the BC Day long weekend. The hotel was located in New Denver, BC and burned down in 1974.

This is a beautiful piece. Do you have any recommendations as to where to find pieces from this hotel? I'm from Abbotsford, BC, but My grandparents were the owners before the building burned down and my father was a young boy at the time - I would love to find any pieces of history from this place to surprise them with. Thanks!
Saw collection at Abby Library, very nice. After I got hooked on Bill Barlees" Ghost Trails", I went on a trip in 1975 or so, I looked all over New Denver for this hotel and found a big concrete slab. Fire in '74 explains this. I took pics all over and Sandon is my favourite I always wanted a couple pieces such as a plte or bottle from some of the Ghost towns, now It shows me not to give up. You have renewed my interest. Too bad I missed the talk at the library.
